Stockpile analysis provides accurate measurement and reporting of material volumes on site, helping clients track quantities of stored materials such as soil, stone, aggregate, sand, hardcore and other bulk materials. This supports site management, material reconciliation, progress tracking and cost control.
 

At AltiGeo, we use drone survey data and photogrammetry workflows to safely capture stockpiles and surrounding site areas. The survey is controlled using Ground Control Points, with independent checkpoints cross-referenced to verify data accuracy. The data is processed to generate orthophotos, pointclouds and 3D surface models, allowing stockpile extents, levels and volumes to be calculated accurately.
